how can i remove system tool 2011 manually?

my laptop is infected with system tool 2011, when I use an antispyware program to remove it the computer shuts off near the end of scan (computer is in safe mode with networking) when trying to remove manually I cannot find it in processes in the task manager, it seems to have renamed itself and I dont know what it is! can someone help?

There are its keys known (listed for example here : http://www.2-viruses.com/remove-system-tool ). Afterward I would recommend to do a scan with good anti-malware program to remove it fully. However, you might look for strange entries in msconfig startup list too. Look for 5 random letters and 5 number combo in names, and disable these startup entries. Run TDSS killer then (works against some specific parasites that disturbs scan) and then scan with regular anti-malware programs against system tool leftovers.

How to remove security tool virus?

I can't get rid of this security tool virus thing. And I cant get my system restore turned back on. Ive went to computer and right clicked to properties but theres no tab called systems or anything and theres no box saying system restore check on or off. And everything that you use to remove it costs and I was wondering if there was a way to do it for free? I dont understand how to manually remove it because I dont know how.

and its doing my head in now because Iv been at it all afternoon, following various websites who claim how to get rid of it by downloading the likes of PC Doctor etc, then they also want cash to get the licence number so as to delete it.

IS THERE A WAY OF GETTING RID OF THIS FAKE MALWARE without being asked for bloody credit card numbers, because after all, its just a fake anti virus product!! I'm currently asking this question from my pc as its my laptop that's infected and its currently in safe mode, Iv also gone down the route as trying to remove it manually but of no avail cus I dont think Im doing it properly or know what it is I'm looking for!!!

I was in safemode and downloaded malwareBytes, done the scan, it detected a couple of issues, pressed the FIX button, then restarted..... VIRUS STILL THERE!!!!!!! So now trying Sade's answer with the system restore....

As it happens, system restore worked, just want to be sure now tho that it has thoroughly removed it from the laptop!

You need to carry out system restore. Its best to do it in safe mode.
So turn on your computer and when you switch it on immediately press the F8 button repeatedly. Then select safe mode. Then go to programs

click accessoiries

system tools

system restore

a calander will appear
you should select a restore point date to a time when your computer was working fine- when you were sure you had no virus.
