When you read a book do you have to find a place where you dont get destracted?

Everytime I read a book in my room I get destracted by the computer,TV radio and things going on outside.

In the living room I get destracted by the TV and cant stop looking out the windows.

There is an art shed studio in my backyard that I think would be a quiet place to read books. The art shed has a very mini porch. I feel that if I took a book inside the art shed and sat on beanbags with some blankets to keep warm that I could concentrate on a book with no destractions. In the art shed there is no TV or computer. There is bright lights and electricity and a plus in heater. Another advnatage is there are no windows to look out so I won't get destracted and look outiside. ts very very quit in the art shed.

One thing I will need to do so I can concentrate on my book and not look outside is close the art shed door. Is this crazy?

The inside of the door is painted sky blue with flowers. The interior walls are painted sky blue with clouds.

The floor is concrete covered with rugs.

If you were a parent would you let your kid/teen read in a place like this on weeked afternoons? Would you as a parent think its a good idea for the door to be closed so they don't get destracted?

Even though this is not my shed the one below looks very similar.

What should I do?
Currently the inside of the door is painted skyblue with flowers. The inside of the walls are skyblue with yellow flowers.

Should I repaint the inside of the door and the interior walls if I"m going to out a doornob on? There are no windows.

Is this current disign of colors oldladyish,childish or niether? What color suggestions would people have for the interior of the door and interior of the walls?

where is the best place to store a container of clorine used for cleaning home swimming pool?

I clean and manage the swimming pool at home without the help of a professional cleaner but I am at lost as to how and where is the best place to put a container of clorine at home.At the moment ,I store it in a shed but the intensity of the clorine is slowly melting all of the metals components in and around the shed.I am also worried that it could cause harm to my plants and animals that walks past the shed

Chlorine is a highly corrosive chemical, it's bleach on steroids! The best thing to so is to build or have built a wooden container with vent holes.
Put the access door in front as opposed to the top (this makes it easier to get the jug in & out).
Put a hasp & padlock on it to keep it safe.
Try to keep the container out of direct sunlight as chlorine will evaporate rapidly.
Always use extreme caution when handling chlorine, as it is very unforgiving on skin & clothes.

In chapter 15 the slaughterhouse Michael Pollan talks about how chickens are gathered before they are slaughtered. Waking up in the morning Michael helps Joel catch hundreds of chickens to place them in a crate. The way Joel places the chickens into the crates is he grabs their legs and then flips it over as he stuffs the chicken into the crate. Joel continues to do this process when he has several chickens in a crate. Once all the chickens are gathered they are placed in shed where there is a feather-plucking machine and metal cones. The metal cones hold the chickens upside down while they are killed with a knife. With the knife the birds are killed in a technique where its head is in a V position. After all the preparation and slaughtering the chickens need to be cleaned out before they are sold to customers.

I picked up this galaha from the road his beak was bloody i have put him in a shed at home with seed n water?

its been 2 days now hes flying a bit but still unstedy do i let him free?? and if so should i go back to the same place where i found him.

If his beak was bloody, he may not be able to eat seed. Try some creamed corn or cooked oatmeal. They also have special farrow bird gruel you can mix for him. Once he's eating and flying take him back to where you found him and put him in a tree. He may have parents and clutch mates in that tree. At least it's a familiar spot.

Where is the best place to buy prenatal vitamins?

I was wondering if it's too soon to be taking pre-natal vitamins eventhough I'm not sure I'm pregnant. Are they really expensive and where's a good place to buy them? I've also been shedding a lot lately and getting really intense headaches. Are these common signs of pregnancy?

If you are trying to get pregnant it is a good idea to be taking prenatals now. A friend of mine had a baby with spinal bifida, which is from a lack of folic acid really early in your pregnancy (like the first two weeks before you even know you are pregnant) which could have been prevented if she had started prenantals while trying to concieve. You can buy prenantal pills pretty much anywhere. I am pregnant and even though my doctor gave me a prescription, the pharmacist told me it would be cheaper than my copay to just pick up a bottle off the shelf. I know they have them at Walmart, Target, Rite-Aid, Walgreens, etc. Headaches are a sign of many things, but all of my pregnancies have started that way,so maybe you are pregnant. Usually once you start having symptoms you will test positive within a week or so of them, so you shouldpick up a EPT or similar early test. Good Luck
